How to Help Promote "The Christian Delusion" Book

Let's say you have this new book and you like it very much. How can you help promote it? Here are some suggestions:

Tell other people. Do this in your skeptic meetings. Tell your family and friends. Tell your former pastor. Tell a Christian apologist or two you may know. Write about it on your blogs. Quote from it in your online forums. Buy up copies to hand out. Rather than merely argue with your Christian family and friends, hand them this book. It will save you months of arguing with them, and it's not expensive at all. Donate one to your local library, or tell librarians it's something they should get. Go into your local bookstores and ask if they have this book. If they say no, ask them to order it. Have a couple of people do that and the bookstores will order the book. Ask one of the authors to come speak at your group. Check to see which author lives the closest to you. Interview the authors on your podcast if you host one. Write reviews of it on Amazon and other online bookstores.

If you are passionate about Christianity it's the least you can do for our common cause.

That sounds too much like proselytizing. I mean,I don't have a problem with sharing info with people who are interested in such stuff, but advices like "Buy up copies to hand out" seem to be a bit over the edge. A little bit.

Raul,

I used to be of the same mind as you. However, once you become convinced that religion and especially Christianity is detrimental to the advance of society, then it becomes obligatory to do what you can to change minds about Christianity.

John, send a copy to Sam Harris and ask him to endorse the book on his website. If he would comment on it and recommend it to his followers, you'd get some serious sales. My understanding is that he has a good fan base, as do Richard Dawkins and PZ Myers. Three free copies there might turn into a thousand more sales. Of course, if you don't want to send them free copies you can simply contact them and ask them to recommend the book.

Landon, so far I have tried to contact them, and so far none of them have given me the time of day. Maybe others could contact them for me. If so, I would appreciate it very much.
