My Book is Being Reprinted

Yes, it's made it to a reprint edition where we fixed many typos. No new material was added. But it was supposed to be available after August 11th when done (but here it is August 17th without it in sight). This is why you won't be able to get it on Amazon until after then. Poor planning in my opinion, but it'll be good to go afterward. To read some reviews of it click here.

I'd get a new copy, but then what would I do with the old edition, NOW that you've admitted that it has typos!

Ah, now for some textual criticism to find out what the original drafts said. Or maybe some Source criticism -- looking at your blog roll and what you threw together to make the book.
With n=2 I might not get much data. I will wait for the thirteenth edition.

Darn, I just bought your book two days ago, story of my life, a day late and a dollar short ;-)
I'm enjoying the book so far (despite the typos).

Hold on - what about an index, this time around? (And maybe all those cool diagrams you left out, from the self-published editions.)

Doesn't the fact that a reprint is in demand mean that you could probably get 600 people to pay a couple more bucks? (I think I remember you saying it would have cost all of $1200 more, and that that had stopped you from adding one.)

I bet many people who were frustrated that the first one(s) had no index might even buy the book again.

Maybe even some of those who hate you. Wouldn't that make it worth it? ;-)

ismellarat, who hates me? ;-)

I hope to do all of that when I revise it in a year or two, if there is a demand to do so.

I'm with MrC, literally just bought it 3 days ago. Stumbled across this today, and was confused to read the bit about child sacrifice since it was the same exact thing I was reading in my new book. Love it so far though, typos and all! Definitely covers some ideas I hadn't read before, instead of just rehashing the same things I've seen in almost all previous atheist books. Thanks for writing it! =D

I purchased it a few weeks ago and am just a few pages into it (slow reader). No worries - I wouldn't recognize a typo if it sat on my face and wiggled.
