I confess, I've already practiced that on my way to atheism, so I am inclined to decline :-)

To say that I don't know the exact formula for original life is not the same thing as professing agnosticism. Faith to me, is about forming a relationship based on trust and security of a revealed promise of God's love. I can know that God is loving, creative, expressive and exists in my life without the knowledge of the specific and exact original blueprints. Such an endeavor seems a vain and unnecessary pursuit in practicing faithful love. To say I cannot know a god did it, I can honestly say that while Y'shua acknowledges humanity's mistreatment of one another, He gives no cause for justifying such - that speaks of One Who values and loves His creation, giving grace even to those Who do not yet love Him in return. This is exemplary of protective proprietorship to me.

As far as different accountings of the origin of creation, I believe there is grace (again with the grace!) for diverse and various accountings of such. When Jesus/Y'shua asked a crowd of people who they believed He was, He didn't punish or reject those who were not yet able to recognize or acknowledge Him.

Thanks!
3MManifesting Mini Me (MMM)https://www.blogger.com/profile/08250513504254425163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21219785.post-11635800131951070592008-05-24T21:57:00.000-04:002008-05-24T21:57:00.000-04:00Hi 3m,Well, where did the star stuff come from?I'm...Hi 3m,
Well, where did the star stuff come from?
I'm agnostic about this and realize that it doesn't necessarily point to a god.
There are at least four issues in creation.
1. Did a god do it?
2. how do we know a god did it?
3. Are there any other possibilities that would account for it?
4. if a god did do it, are you worshiping the god that did it?

You should be agnostic about it too since the Judeo-christian creation story is so obviously a myth. You can't know that a god did it any other way other than speculation.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17353286859864448748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21219785.post-45680174761106412992008-05-24T21:22:00.000-04:002008-05-24T21:22:00.000-04:00Hi 3m,One can believe creation is the expression o...Hi 3m,
One can believe creation is the expression of a loving and creative God or not.
Why would one believe that a god did it?
