I'm Headed to Canada and Need a Passport.

Pam Walls, Executive Director for the Centre for Inquiry, Ontario, Canada, invited me to speak on January 21st about the extraordinary claims of Christ. I originally had to turn her down because the date was set for November 19th and I had no passport. So she graciously moved the date I'm supposed to speak. Now I have time to raise the money and get one. There is a ChipIn in the sidebar to contribute toward my passport and a new suit. Help if you can--immediately so I can get it. I do appreciate anything you can donate.

Some people might think I'm trying to bilk people out of their money even though I have plenty myself. That is emphatically not the case. Look what I had to do recently (7th name from the bottom) and we're not out of the water yet.

Full passports are $140 each. PayPal gets 6-7% (I forget) and a good suit might cost around $300 but I'll buy something less if I can, or get 2 of them.

Hi John
My contribution is on the way. Have a great time in Canada. Apparently the locals are friendly.

Cheers

Hey John,

I don't think you can get an enhanced drivers license in Indiana but I got one in NY for only $36 that allowed me to cross the border...

Keith, that's true for $55 I think, but if I fly into a country I need a passport so why not be prepared?

Oh yes I forgot if you fly you definitely need a passport. Hope you have fun!

Sorry to hear of your economic troubles. Far too common in today's economy. I sent you $20. Hope it helps. Someone has to stand up to these apologists and you are far nmore qualified than someone like myself. Keep getting the word out, atheism is a valid option and Christian apologetics are weak excuses for Biblegod.

I'm a little less than 2 hours away from Toronto. I hope you do go to Toronto, I know 'RhetoricalBullshit' in real life, and both of us would like to see you speak.
