"Noah's Ark" Was Not Rectangular Shaped. It Was Bowl Shaped
That's right. Not as pictured on the left but a bigger version of the one on the right:
See the story here. Now pseudo-apologists will start finding the remains of a big bowl boat in the mountains of Turkey, right? Right!

It was neither rectangular nor bowl-shaped, since it never existed. It was myth-shaped.
Should I have said "mythshapen"?
AdamK that is hilarious
Yes, "mythshapen" sounds good. Notice the quote marks in my title. Somehow they will find it anyway, imagine that!
Cheers.
There seems to be quite a few unsubstantiated assumptions being made here, the least of which is that the Hebrews were recipients rather than originators of the flood account.
The Hebrews changed the shape of the ship in their version to avoid copyright infringement.
Hi Wes, if you studied these things out in depth you'd see that even Evangelicals like John Walton, Kenton Sparks and Peter Enns agree that these stories were the basis for the ones found in Genesis 6-9. I provided links to their books in the sidebar. Yes, that's right. The evidence has forced evangelicals to acknowledge these things.
Does this "bowl" shape also give a ratio of pi=3?
P.S. Need edit function... I suck at spelling...
I'm more concerned why a museum assistant (from the Victorian era) would receive a tablet and get so excited he started to take off his clothes! WTF? "Dear Biblical Archaeology Review. I always thought they were only stories, but guess what happened to me..."
