Why Must We Even Bother With Presuppositional Arguments (TAG)?
No one has an epistemic right to presuppose a whole set of bizzaro extraordinary beliefs...No One! Nonetheless some people have the patience to take this argument seriously.

It can be amusing, arguing with the TAGgers, in a perverse kind of way,
I still remember this one, from 2004. It goes on and on and on, for 125 pages on the old iidb.org forum.

Thanks for the mention!
Can't say I'm a fan of that. It seems to me that it's perfectly intelligible that the laws of logic are true even if nothing else (including God) exists.
I was a TAG of the Clarkian variety; it's appealing for the logical mind that won't give up god belief.
I argued with less logical Christians, though, not atheists. It's too bad, because I'd have no doubt deconverted sooner otherwise.
Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but isn't presuppositionalism just saying, "the evidence won't actually show this, so let us make shit up."?
No offence John, but isn't most if not all christian arguments presuppositional arguments? :D
