Court Rules Faith in God and Prayer as Child Abuse!

In the Gospel of John 14: 13 -14 we find the propaganda religious sells pitch: ““Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” But the legal system has ruled that Jesus is a liar and the claims of the Bible are a myth!

Daniel Hauser was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and has a 90 percent chance of surviving his Hodgkin's lymphoma with chemotherapy or only a 5 percent chance of living with only faith in Jesus and Biblical promises.

In a 58-page ruling, Brown County District Judge John Rodenberg found that Daniel Hauser has been "medically neglected" by his parents, Colleen and Anthony Hauser, and was in need of child protection services.

Better yet, can an all loving God cure a disease he let happen in the first place? (Oh, that’s right Freedom of Choice: Daniel Hauser had Free Will to wish this cancer on himself in the first place and the virus was given Freedom of Choice or Will by God to choose on which person it would inflict cancer on!)

The fact is, its the Biblical authors who claim to speak for God just don’t know when to quit lying! So a fictional character is created as an escape goat to blame all the divine failures on called Satan. The statement of Jesus in John 8: 44 shows just how little Jesus read the Hebrew Bible or even knew Jewish tradition:

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

A. By calling the Jews children of Satan (You are of your father the devil…), Jesus is in fact saying that God is not the father of all man kind, which, is a lie according to the Hebrew Bible! In fact, Jesus portrays himself here as the first Christian anti-Semite.
B. Another lie: “He was a murderer from the beginning,…”

OK all you Christians out there; please name me one Bible figure Satan killed! However, on the other hand, as with the Flood of Noah, the murder of the first born of Egypt, the plagues on the Israelites, the slaughter under Joshua with orders from Yahweh in the Book of Joshua (and many of other Biblical slaughters), God himself is a murderous liar!

Tell you what: Get your Bible and make two columns on a piece of paper. Over one write God and the other write Satan. Now start at Genesis and list all the slaughter and murderous acts done by each. God will tromp Satan any day!
C. Another lie of Jesus: “ and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

OK again all you Christians: Get your Bibles and list all the so-called lies of Satan in one column on a piece of paper and all the lies of both God and his son Jesus. (For starter you might just want to start with the biggest lie of all; the promise of salvation.)

Nice post harry,
I think all the secular institutions should get away from an uncritical "respect for beliefs". In fact, if the secular world starts disrespecting Gods people too bad, hes always free to do something about it since he's the most powerful force in the universe and all-knowing and such.

Well stated Lee, and I totally agree!

"If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."

Somehow Christians always seem to forget the unequivocal meaning of this verse: your prayers will always be answered, and they will be answered positively. "I will do it."

They always equivocate, saying that the answer might be "yes", "no", or "later". That isn't what the promise clearly says.

It just seems to be another hedge that allows them to resolve the discrepancy between faith and reality.

I totally agree r52godless!

As Robert Oden has pointed out: “There is always a reason given by the faithful why prayer NEVER fails!”

Wait a minute, are you talking about jebus, the god who came down from the skies disguised as his only begotten son and talks to himself and prays to himself?

Jebus the carpenter/savior who lived just 32 years?

BTW, does anyone know what Jebus happened to build with his carpentry tools during the 32 years?

Rabbit gums or mouse traps perhaps?

Hello Harry,

These Jews you speak of were plotting to kill Jesus. He knew this, that is why he says "Ye are of your father the devil" Jesus knew that if these Jews really loved God, that they'd love him too.

Peace, feeno

Lee,

I happen to think that keeping a child from medical care based on your faith should be child abuse. I hope nothing like that ever happens to my child, and if it does, I will pray to God for a good Doctor. That's like saying Christians are all murderers because they blow up an abortions clinic. When probably, And I'm guessing, but 99% of us think those that do that are horribly disturbed people?

G'day Mate, feeno

r52godless,

We don't need a "hedge" because there is no discrepancy. Why can't he say "yes, no or later?" Besides he will say "unequivocally Yes, if it is his will. And we should always pray, his will be done.

Peace out godless, feeno

Mr. Bently

He only lived 32 years, and yet 2,000 yrs later people still can't stop talking about him? BTW Jebus lubs you.

Late, feeno

Freeno:

What about the statement Jesus made: He was a murderer from the beginning,…”

Can you name just one person Satan ever killed? Now get a piece of paper; better yet and notebook and try and list all the people God killed!

Also, people were burnt as witches because they were “of your father the devil…”. Just where was the all-loving Jesus who gave himself for the sins of the world then?

When I was a Christian, verses like these always troubled me. We would use these weasel-words to get ourselves off the hook; but, I was uncomfortable to think that "The Way" as Jesus proclaimed it, didn't work for some people who simply took him at his word.

As a physician, I could easily dismiss the theology of the Jehovah's Witness who refused permission to give them a blood product as just plain bad exegesis. It was a little more difficult to argue against the Christian who felt that God would heal them without the aid of modern medicine...after all, Jesus did promise to give if they asked.

What better way to proclaim the power of God? ...unless of course, the whole thing is a delusion.

This is why I don't understand how christians can believe in prayer, and at the same time, believes God allows suffering to build character. If you're suppose to learn and overcome through such experiences, then why would there be a need for God to help you through prayer. But of course believers like to think he does a few miracles here and there to get you over the hump to faith.

One of the things I hate the most for believing in God, is prayer. I hate it is because, if there is some god out there, he is not answering any, while most people are believing otherwise. It's a deception.

I think this is the worse method for a god to use for faith, or for even as a sign of his existence. His so-called mysterious ways are actually just another dangerous idea mankind has come up with, as evident again by this post.

Thanks for the commit Andre.

After being terrorized by God (bettter know as Religious Writers) over an evil being called Satan, prayer is is just the Christian's way of “Whistling in the graveyard.

Payer is nothing but thinking religiously! Thus, St. Paul can tell all goood believers to “pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

What if they were just granola health nuts and did not want to be forced to take the chemicals and poisonous radiation?

what if the chance of survival with treatment was lower? how low does it have to be before you could refuse and not be guilty of abuse?

As of today, it looks like the mother and son went missing. They were due for a court date and never showed up. The husband claims he last saw them last night. Talk about being committed to not treating your son with the most effective medical cure for his disease.

Feeno,
How come an omnipotent god needs to work through doctors and modern medicine? What would you have done if you had lived 100 years ago? You would have prayed, your child would have died, and you would have chalked it up to "god's will".

Doesn't that seem kind of weird, that god's will would change so much in only a few years, in direct relation to scientific advances?

Harry, isn't your point moot since the Mother and her Son are actually part of the Nemenah Band, which is actually a sort of reconstruction of Native American Spiritual tradition?

Is the Nemenah Band Christian? If not, then why would the mothers decision invalidate Christian belief that Jesus will give them anything if they ask? Do the Nemenah's pray to Jesus?

I think this is just you being Anti-Christian and jumping on any excuse to attack Christianity.

Zarove, the family is Catholic. I just listened to an hour discussion on Sirius Radio on the Catholic Channel. The show was “The Catholics Next Door”.

The entire discussion NEVER posed the fact you have as a problem. Maybe they were to ashamed to admit this Catholic family turned to natural healings for some ethic American Indian.

Anyway, be it Jesus or natural healings, the court finds both mythological in nature.

As a Catholic, I would suggest you listen to EWTN or the Catholic Channel once in a Blue Moon.

Anyway, I’m going to se Angels and Demons tonight.

Have a good Memorial Day.
