This documentary debunks faith healings fairly well!

Edit on March 10, 2011: This video no longer exists but here's another one, so enjoy.

I can't even watch that video because it's so disturbing. I started to but turned it off. Yikes!

Isn't Benny Hinn's "ministry" pretty much dead?

After watching the first two segments, I fell down “Slain in the Spirit”. When I recovered, I knew the hand of God had touched me and felt God wanted me to tide $3,000 on my Visa card.

Honestly, if God can heal through Hinn and Bunkie, then why does Bunkie ware glasses and Hinn can’t re-grow hair as he must comb it over to cover his balding top head?!

I like the Carmina Burana or Penderecki soundtrack ... really adds to the menace!

What's hard for me to swallow is how many people still choose to believe in these fools even after the monumental evidence that they are nothing but hucksters. Even many Christians consider these guys snake-oil salesmen (although I'm not sure what good reason they have to do so, considering they're not really doing anything "unbiblical").

I agree Stephanie, although I did watch it in it's entirety. As a former Peace Corps volunteer in rural Africa, I was especially sickened to see them taken advantage of in the midst of their suffering. I was moved to tears seeing the disappointed faces, so hopeful. So sad.

To Harry McCall:
Maybe, because grace of the Lord is sufficient for them. :)

No, Benny Hinns "ministry is going as strong as ever. So is TBN.

Does anybody out there have a left leg? It's being healed, praise God!

did you hear where he say's "a wheelchair is being healed".

Has anyone heard an explanation offered for why people like Hinn and Bonnke visit Africa at all?

I'd think the financial pickings can't be anywhere near as great there.

Hey look on the bright side, Benny Hinns organization is also tax exempt!

Benny Hinns still operating for sure, worldwide too.I watched a program of his a while back for a little fun,yes guess to me its kinda some type of comedy .

He had another smooth talking sweet voiced priestly type working with him too. They were talking together about the need for planting a seed which with faith would reap certain benefits etc.

Stories of past successes included !.

This price of these seeds it seemed started around $1000.00 at least thats what they suggested. And im quite sure many sad souls brought into the business .

:) hallelujah!

That's a great (if not disturbing) documentary. When I on my way out of the Pentecostal church (yet was still a Christian at the time), James Randi was a valuable resource. He did some great work with exposing Peter Popoff.

Another great documentary I watched is here: Signs and Wonders Movement Exposed. It goes into the actual techniques that these preachers use in greater detail, if I remember correctly. Definitely worth a look :)

Don't ya think its unfair to blanket the acts of some greedy sleezballs over all Christians and all healing?? Obviously none of these guys are follow the teachings of Jesus by asking for money.
