Excellent! Plus, after you've viewed this video you can click to see other video's of his defense of evolution. I highly recommend people to see his whole talk by doing this.
Thanks, EA, for the pointer to the great video. As John said, the others (click "More from this user" to see a list) are also worth watching. Now, if someone could figure out the order to watch them in so that we can watch the whole talk in chronological order, that'd be great!
This link should take you to the whole talk, about 2 hrs. long:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVRsWAjvQSg&mode=related&search=
Awesome, thank you Stargazer :)
You are welcome! I just stumbled across it in the listings...Or, was I led??? :-) (Total tongue in cheek...!)
On a related note, I wrote a post about the intuitive appeal of irreducible complexity here. One intuition fueling Intelligent Design is that highly complex systems, like biological ones, are best explained by the engineering of some intelligence. However, I argue this intuition is garnered from our ordinary experience of macroscopic physical objects, and is not reliable in the unfamiliar microscopic world.
