One Christian's Opinion About DC Comments

I invited a Christian to come visit this Blog. His blogsite is here where after looking around he said....

After being challenged by the creator of the blog to read one of his posts, I spent some time looking around.

One thing that shocked me was the comments section. People, claiming to be Christian, left some of the most childish, mean-spirited, hate-filled comments that I have ever read in a blog.

Nice job showing the love of Christ.

Boy, that sent them clamoring to return to the Church.

I was more put off by the comments of believers than by the comments made by those running the blog. All the commenters did was to help them build their case of Christianity being a false religion.

When John wrote about his deconversion experience, he stated that one of his reasons for leaving the faith was: "...minus a sense of a loving, caring, Christian community". Well, these people are certainly enforcing the notion of a loving community, huh?

A loving and caring community is vital for the church and people of the church to flourish. There must be grace towards people's short comings, mercy towards their failings, encouragement to approach the future with holiness, a celebration of any and all forward motion people make in their lives, and support when there is struggle.

It's been said that the Christian army is the only army that shoots it's own wounded. I don't wonder why some people leave.

Yes that can be said, some of us did not just leave we were told to get the hell out.

New creatures, new creations, in Christ [2 Cor 5:17], or the same ol', same ol', non-magic-man-filled people?

You decide.

Right, and why would'nt people leave. The trick is, they are'nt true christians, they are counterfeit. I left that lie that calls itself christianity a long time ago. True christianity does indeed work though. The problem is, finding disciples of Jesus that are true to His word these days is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. The enemy has pulled off a real masterpiece here with this counterfeit christianity. I surmise that this fakery has been allowed by the Lord to ensnare and entrap the millions of people who want to "play church" to seperate the wheat from the chaff. In my opinion the only move of God occuring in todays apostate christianity is to get his children out of it. It is an abomination.

I hope christians stop having loving, supportive communities as soon as humanly possible, and I hope they tell everyone to get the hell out.

I hope you will forgive me for not having the time to read your blog... but I am really intrigued about one thing... You claim that your aim is to debunk Christianity, but isn't that a bit harsh if, like me, you just have a problem with Young Earth Creationists?

Unlike you guys, I have not "thrown the baby out with the bathwater". However, I do wish we could go back 150 years to a time when the majority of Christians considered that believing in 6 days of creation in 4000 BC was as stupid as believing that the Earth was flat.

However, before responding to this post, so as to avoid any unnecessary arguments, you might like to visit my modest little website, which is (in my humble opinion) nowhere near as indigestible as much of this blog...

Kind regards,

Steve, are you stupid or something? What do you think I just allowed you to do?

I just laughed out loud, remembering the line from Forrest Gump, "...are you stupid or somethin'?"

Maybe they will respond to this thread. Too bad they have no forum for doing so on their own web site...Create a feedback space, you silly cowards.

Go grow a brain, you silly dumbass.
